Network Engineer
Open to candidates located in Colombia and Phillipines.
Requirements:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience is a MUST.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and VPNs.
Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience in system administration tasks, such as server configuration, user management, and backup and recovery.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
English C1 – C2 (Native)
Auto Dealership experience is desired but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to include LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and designing network architecture accordingly.
Troubleshooting escalated tickets, both in Networking and System Admin.
Taking care of customer incidents through to completion.
Leading and collaborating on networking projects.
Configuring and maintaining network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performance.
Implementing and enforcing network security policies and procedures.
Monitoring network traffic for potential security threats and responding to incidents.
Conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Creating and maintaining network documentation and diagrams.
Collaborating with system administrators, developers, and security analysts for seamless network infrastructure integration.
Staying updated with industry trends and emerging network technologies.
