System Administrator
Duties:
· Active Directory Management
· VMware and Hyper-V Management
· Windows Server Management
· Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive administration
· Collaborate on projects and resolve escalated tickets.
· Provide support to end users and Help Desk staff for high priority and escalated requests.
· Create and maintain documentation pertinent to systems implementations, management, and problem resolution.
· Mentor Help Desk staff.
Main Responsibilities:
· Providing great customer service and technical support to customers. This means resolving their issues to their satisfaction.
· Troubleshooting Hardware; PCs, servers, WIFI and Networking equipment, etc.
· Coordinate with other support technicians to resolve client issues.
· Updating Tickets and projects in the ticketing system.
· Monitor assigned tickets, and keep team and clients informed.
· Other support as needed.
Technical Qualifications:
Essential:
· Problem-solving mindset; as a Tier 3 Engineer you must be able to troubleshoot and resolve difficult issues.
· Expertise in Microsoft 365. You should be extremely knowledgeable managing all aspects of an Office 365 tenant, including Entra ID, Purview, Exchange Online, Defender.
· Active Directory. You should be comfortable deploying new Active Directory domains from zero and understand to a deep level management of Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, Site Replication Topology, Group Policy Objects, permissions management, Organizational Unit hierarchy management, users & groups management.
· Automation: You should be able to implement common automations using PowerShell for the management of Office 365, Azure, third-party REST APIs, Active Directory.
· Networking: You will have a thorough understanding of core networking concepts regarding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs
· C1 - C2 English
Desirable:
· Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Java, etc.) or scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
Preferred, but not required:
· Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems like CDK, DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds.
· Other common auto dealership software
· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
· Microsoft certifications
· Cisco Certifications
